In Madhubani art, fish symbolizes prosperity, fertility and good luck. Sikkot flower gives the orange color for the painting. Painted by artist Rakesh Paswan, the artwork was completed over a period of 5-6 days. The pattern of fishes have been drawn using lamp soot with cotton tipped bamboo sticks and stiff twigs.
