The Cairns Girls Hostel has been offering backpacker acommodation in the heart of this tourist city for over 50 years. Owned and operated by locals we endevour to ensure that your stay is a safe and friendly one. The Cairns Girls Hostel has Council compliant Fire & Safety equipment and alarm systems fitted throughout and also provides sharehouse accommodation for longer stay tenants. Our building is located within the same block as backpacker Car rental agencies and is an approved pick up point for backpacker tours - so our location is an advantage. We are one block away from the Cairns City Mall and just two blocks to the waterfront which houses the Esplanade Lagoon, picnic spots, scenic walk and a variety of restaurants. And Yes!, we are the only spot in all of Cairns which offers backpacker accommodation to women only! We trust that you will enjoy your stay with us.
