In 1983, Wayne Alley and his partner Florence Alley started a business specialising in travel to the Philippines. The travel business for the Alleys proved to be successful. This opened an opportunity for Gigi Kalong, an employee of Philippine Tours for 12 years, to take over the business in 2002. The takeover marked a new milestone for Ms Kalong as the Managing Director and a new beginning for the travel agency. As the Managing Director, Gigi Kalong ushered DiscountFlights.au into a new level of business. DiscountFlights.au now actively promotes not only Asian destinations, but all countries around the world. As DiscountFlights.au has traveled a long journey but admits that there is more to be done.
