The building design and drafting business was established in 1993 with the business originally named Emc Drafting, which worked from within a local builders office in Belmont NSW. The business provided a plan drawing & drafting service for residential projects through out Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and Hunter regions. In 1999 the business name changed to Emc Design, which reflected the changes to the business, from simply drafting residential plans to providing a full building design service. While still providing a drafting service, the main focus is designing residential projects that suit the clients needs and bust suit the site for all property types, I specializing in designing for difficult sites. Over the years I have completed & worked on hundreds of projects from as far north as Mackay in Queensland to South of Sydney and out west to Bourke. Over these past 21 years working within the residential design and drafting field I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience for construction and planning controls. As an active member of the Building Designs Association of NSW, I sit with industry committee groups at local councils to keep myself and the association up to date with the latest planning controls. Chartered Member Building Designers Association Australia (BDA) Council represented for the BDA Newcastle Accredited Certificate - Building Design.
