This destination is home to some of the most picturesque sections of the mighty Murray River, Cobram Barooga is located approximatley three hours' drive from Melbourne and seven hours from Sydney. The Cobram Barooga Golf Club, a 36 hole golf course is approximately 500 meters from the motels front door, there is also a number of quality golf courses within an hour's drive. Your hosts: Paul & Wendy Harvie have been in the tourism industry for approximately twenty years, over that time they have operated a number of properties. Since taking over the Sportsmans Motor Inn ten years ago Paul and Wendy have constantly upgraded the property: all the motel units have been completely refurbished, two new self contained two bedroom units have been added to the property along with three four star deluxe spa units. The original motel reception/ residence has been converted into five fully self contained apartments and an outdoor kitchen area was recently added to the upgraded bbq area. The rain forest area of the property features three large Balinese huts, a great area for weddings or just to sit, relax and observe the abundant bird life. Customer service is Paul and Wendy's main priority; they'll endeavour to make your accommodation in Cobram Barooga an enjoyable and comfortable stay.
