Almec Pty Ltd was started in 1991 by Alan J Skinner. A graduate Engineer, experienced Corporate Manager and former 'Wallaby', Alan's passion for the business and policy of reinvestment has seen it grow from its humble beginnings in Dee Why to its current operation in the heart of Auburn. Alan is still very much hands on in the daily operation of the business, guiding his team with his engineering and management expertise. The team includes the following dedicated staff: Dave Gault and Denys Volokov who look after the Engineering and CAD programming. Janet Borjeson who looks after Admin and Accounts. And Lil Taylor, Alan's daughter, a Graduate Mathematican and the next generation of Almec! In addition to our office staff we have our fantastic and dedicated manufacturing staff who bring decades of experience, a comprehensive skill base, and a daily focus on quality to the work they produce at Almec.
