In 1982, John and Judy Meredith established Meredith Seed Co. at 114 Taylor Street Armidale as a Seed, Grain and Fertiliser merchant. Due to the seasons and demand, it was extended into Produce and Feed. In 1988 we extended the business with the building of a bulk storage shed at 36 Old Inverell Road, Armidale for unloading trucks, storage and some Custom Feed Mixing. In 1990 we continued to extend when we doubled the capacity of the bulk shed to its present size and added silos and the feed mill. In 2004 we established a Seed Grading Plant. Silo storage is now 375 tonne Grain, 30 Tonne Meal and 40 tonne TruGraze. Meredith Seed Co. is a member of the AIRR buying group. In 1998 Meredith Seed Co. established another business in the name of Meredith Paints at 114 Taylor Street, Armidale. An outlet for all architectural and industrial paints.
