Henry Clarke & sons started in 1906 making bird cages which were delivered by horse and cart, along with wire baskets for handlebars on pushbikes. In later years we won the contract to make wire refrigerator shelves for Silen Knight kerosesn refrigerators. Sline Knight was owned by Sir Edward Hallstrom, the main benefactor of Sydney.
