WGC Cranes Group is a family owned crane company that has built upon nearly 30 years of successful trading. With a large and varied fleet WGC Cranes are able to undertake a range of projects specialising in major shut downs, maintenance and construction works. The success of the group is shown through repeat business. Throughout the years the company has strived to be flexible in meeting customers’ demands and maintain a long term focus. Due to the strong commitment to reinvest in the business, the WGC Cranes fleet has steadily grown while being regularly updated to include the most modern cranes. Having started in Batemans Bay the company moved to Wollongong in 2000 and began trading as Wollongong Cranes. There was a further expansion when they acquired the Sydney crane company Camtrac Cranes in 2008. In 2012 the Wollongong Cranes and Camtrac Cranes began trading under the new name - WGC Cranes. The change of name was instigated for a number of reasons, but mainly to assist our clients by presenting the one shop front and streamlined administration processes. Now operating as the one business with several depots, WGC Cranes are now more capable than ever of undertaking large scale projects both in our local areas and around Australia. The group has demonstrated its capabilities as a national supplier to major projects as it mobilised cranes to both North Queensland and Western Australia for long term jobs. Despite the growth the company remains a family operation, which provides experience, stability, flexibility and a long term focus.
