Owner Roger Patten has been a chef for 46 years and started Penny Garden Restaurant with his wife Pam & daughter Jasmine. Before commencement of construction, old Australian pennies were discovered at the entrance to the site. This, combined with the picturesque views and a love of plants & fauna by the owners, formed the history behind the name Penny Garden. Chef Earl Mashmett has 14 years experience in bars & restaurants in Perth and has created a fresh menu using local produce wherever possible. With gluten free and vegetarian options available, Penny Garden is happy to cater to dietary requirements. All cakes, salad dressings, sauces & marinades are made right here on the premises. Penny Garden is fully licensed venue with an outstanding range of wine, beer and spirits. However, you may BYO wine if you wish (corkage charged at $5 per bottle). We recommend booking to ensure your table.
