Situated on the sand belt at West Lakes, the West Lakes Golf Club provides a quality 18 hole golf course with excellent greens and is playable in all weather conditions. The West Lakes Golf Club, formerly the Riverside Golf Club (1951 - 2011), has undergone significant changes over the past few years including a name change, clubhouse renovations and course improvements. Riverside Golf Club emanated from the Woodville Gardens Golf Club which commenced in 1934 but was forced from its location due to the post war building boom in the late 1940’s. Riverside itself was not born until 1951 when the present site was turned from wasteland to the beginnings of the course we know today. Many changes and improvements have been made over the years with the most recent redesign of the course completed in early 2011, resulting in a tight and challenging Par 70 layout of 5632 metres. 
The Riverside Golf Club Incorporated in West Lakes is highly regarded among its customers for its beautifully maintained fairways and greens, challenging courses, and accommodating staff.
