The Wangaratta Golf Club is a friendly rural golf club, open to the public, close to the heart of the Rural City of Wangaratta, in the beautiful Ovens Valley of North East Victoria. The club came into existence in 1906, and developed the old Waldara Estate into a modern golf links in 1963. We welcome visitors to our area and particularly welcome members of our reciprocal clubs. Our club is currently accepting new members. Wangaratta well deserves its reputation as the Gateway to Northeast Victoria with its famous wines, epicurian delights, snowsport, rivers, railtrail bike riding and national parks. Wangaratta has the reputation of being the hub and gateway to all of the attractions of the North East Victorian Region. It provides central facilities and accomodation for the region’s many culinary and wine festivals, not to mention its own Jazz and Italian festivals. 
Wangaratta Golf Club: A terrific golf course in excellent condition with green fairways and superior greens. Players praise the great mix of flat and hilly terrain, friendly staff, and top-notch club hospitality. The back nine is a recommended challenge. Some visitors note new improvements and appreciate the vet-friendly environment.
