Sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings as you depart on your approximately 3 hour adventure from Great Sandy Straits Marina out into the waters of Hervey Bay in search of the humpback whales that migrate here every year. You'll have a water-level "whale's eye" view of all the action, from mothers interacting with calves to competition pods of males competing for females. You can witness a multitude of behaviors throughout your excursion (breaches, tail and pectoral slaps, etc.). Each excursion is a new adventure as you never what you'll see. But there are certified Marine Naturalist onboard to provide expert commentary and interpretation of the various behaviors being exhibited, as well as a whale Researcher gathering important sightings data for use in ongoing research.
