PCYC Toowoomba Markets draw praise for fresh produce, specifically fruits, vegetables, and honey. The Peruvian kiosk's roasted chicken is a standout, and some mention the Merlot coffee stand for excellent coffee. Many commend the friendly and approachable staff.

FoodAssist Toowoomba is highly regarded by customers for its affordable, good quality food items. The organization offers hampers with a variety of fruits, bakery goods, juices, and frozen foods. Customers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, and the cleanliness of the facility. Prices are reasonable and the limited variety of goods is offset by their affordability.
At Lifeline we know that every family’s situation is unique, and yet all families experience some common struggles and challenges in raising healthy, happy children. In the modern world, many families don’t have strong support from extended family. With continuing increases in the cost of living, many families are doing it tough. Our services and programs at Lifeline can help families to make ends meet. Emergency Relief, NILS (No Interest Loans Scheme) and Financial Counselling may be particularly useful when the financial pressures are very stressful for the family and may even threaten the stability of housing or education. Counselling and support through the Child, Youth and Family Therapy Team, Men and Relationships or the Family Intervention Team could make a difference in family relationships, coping skills, and being able to safely manage children. Some of Lifeline’s programs work in the community rather than with individual families. For example PACE - Parental and Community Engagement - is all about building better, stronger links between Aboriginal families and early education. The Lifeline philosophy across all of our family-oriented programs is that we aim to strengthen families in today’s complex and often stressful world. Accessing support from time to time shows how important it is for parents to do the best they can for their children.
