NAPLAN 2013 Results Our 2013 results have placed the school in the top performers for our Region and show significant relative growth in numeracy results across years 5, 7 and 9. Good gains were also evident in literacy with an increased number of year 5 students in the high relative growth group and less year 9 students making low relative growth. In short this means our students are making better progress than the state average when tracked between NAPLAN tests. NAPLAN Testing NAPLAN is a valuable assessment tool for governments, schools and parents to understand and improve the literacy and numeracy outcomes of Australian students. NAPLAN provides parents of students in Years 3/5/7/9 with a report on their child’s performance in literacy and numeracy against the national average.
