Nudie Jeans don't believe throwaway and jeans are words that belong together. Just the opposite, jeans are a piece of clothing that ages and grows more beautiful with the wearer, and are worth wearing out and mending. All nudie jeans denim is made with 100% organic cotton. They will repair your nudie jeans denim for free. Or you can return them to in-store and get 20% off on your next pair. They are then washed and repaired so your old Nudie Jeans can resell as second hand. The idea behind the Nudie Jeans Repair Shops is that their jeans can be repaired, resold as second-hand or even donated to the Nudie Jeans recycling program at the self-same store from which they were bought.

An influx of interest followed from retailers, consumers, stylists and celebrities. “I left one of a few family hats at a shop in Manuka in Canberra. It sold before I got back to the farm in Gundaroo where we lived. The shop owner told me she could have sold five in an afternoon. And so it began. That year Judy Davis bought a few and Vogue used them in two or three pages.” Helen Marie Kaminski, Founding Designer
