Making contact with Welfare Rights. If you would like to speak with us, please call us on 9211 5300 or 1800 226 028 (outside of Sydney). We give telephone advice: between 9.30 and 1 on Mondays, Thursdays or Fridays, and between 1 and 5 on Tuesdays. The Welfare Rights Centre received praise from customers for effectively resolving issues with Centrelink, specifically restoring income payments that had been incorrectly cancelled or delayed. The organization was described as helpful, fantastic, and a relief to talk to. Some customers shared their struggles with Centrelink and expressed gratitude for the Centre's assistance in navigating complex issues.
