I am leaving this review to warn other potential customers about my experience with Centenary Motors. I entered into a contract to purchase a vehicle from Centenary Motors and subsequently cancelled the purchase. I disputed the dealership’s position regarding the cancellation and the amount they sought from me. The matter ultimately proceeded to QCAT. The Tribunal made an order requiring me to pay the dealership, I respect the Tribunal’s decision, but I remain very unhappy with the circumstances that led to the dispute and the way the matter was handled. What concerns me most is that, from my understanding, the vehicle was subsequently resold, yet the dealership still pursued me for money in relation to the cancelled transaction. This left me feeling that the process was extremely unfair and caused me significant financial and personal stress. My experience has completely changed my view of the dealership. I strongly recommend that anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from Centenary Motors carefully read every term of the contract, ask questions about cancellation fees and potential liabilities, and obtain independent advice before signing anything. This review is based on my personal experience and the documented QCAT proceedings. I am sharing it so that prospective customers can make an informed decision before entering into a contract. IMPORTANT: Before signing any contract, make sure you carefully read and understand every term, particularly cancellation fees and any potential financial liability. I would not personally deal with this dealership again.
