Avoid at All Costs – Legal Action Underway I engaged Denplex to complete a joinery package for a high-end renovation project. While they may have had a solid reputation when operating from Smeaton Grange, everything changed after their move to Rydalmere. It appears they lost most of their skilled staff—and unfortunately, their quality, professionalism, and ability to deliver also vanished. What followed was a nightmare of missed deadlines, poor workmanship, zero accountability, and constant excuses. Multiple critical areas were either defective or incomplete, requiring rebuilds. Their team consistently failed to follow the agreed program, ignored site protocols, refused to attend meetings, and left the site in an unacceptable condition. Even after being given multiple chances and revised timelines, the situation only worsened. Due to the significant delays and damages caused, I have now commenced legal proceedings to recover the considerable costs incurred to rectify and complete the project. These include floor and ceiling repairs, electrical and plumbing damage, extensive rework, and project management overruns. This has been the worst contracting experience I’ve ever had. Save yourself the time, money, and stress—steer well clear of Denplex.
