Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Robertson is located on the corner of Troughton Rd and Barrett St, right in the heart of Robertson, only minutes from the central shopping district of Sunnybank and Garden City. We offer care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years – in rooms from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - with an extensive curriculum aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten framework which focuses on all areas of your child's development; helping to prepare them for school and the challenges of childhood. Our school readiness program focuses on literacy, numeracy and the essential skills which children require for the transition to primary school. Our educators come from a range of different cultural backgrounds and speak multiple languages, making the transition process and settling in period easier for children from non-english speaking backgrounds. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school. Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre. Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability.
