We have a long heritage here in WA streching over 85 years and are part of the global Girls' Brigade with groups meeting in the Pacific, Caribbean, Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa. We are passionate about seeing girls' lives transformed and enriched as they seek, serve and follow Christ. We are able to inspire and journey with girls through our dynamic program and our close partnerships with local churches. The churches run GB groups (called Companies) throughout our suburbs and WA country and girls meet weekly during term time. The girls from Pre Primary to Year 12 are in four aged groups. Cadets, Juniors, Seniors and Pioneers. Girls come together to learn new skills, take part in activities and events and discover Jesus in a safe and nurturing environment. Our experience and passion enables us to run quality groups enabling the girls to try all sorts of things they wouldn't perhaps have an opportunity to do and develop social skills, faith and build long lasting friendships. The Girls' Brigade WA is supported by The Department of Local Government and Communities and has a State Council and a State Commissioner who oversee GB governance.
