Prestige Awards – 2022/23
Havana People – Rhi & Mariano are so happy to announce that our school are the winners of the ‘Salsa School in Wales’ for 2022/23 awarded by Prestige Awards. We are over the moon that out of all the Dance schools and Salsa schools in Wales we have been awarded the title above making us the best Salsa School in Wales for the year of 2022/23 (as title: Specialist Dance School of the Year 2022/2023).
This award means so much to us, as a highlight of our UK career – it means that all of our passion, hard work and dedication that we put into our students and into our art form is being recognised! We have to thank our beautiful students for all their support over the years.

2022 was full of new emotions and ideas like RevoLatino, an amazing dance event rich of surprise where people interact with the event in itself, something new and fresh that bring the event on the next level! Plus Havana People School started in January 2022 with 140 Active Students (600 on the door) and we conclude the 2022 with 320 Active Students ( around 2000 on the door) and that is the results of only one year of hard work and passion.
Havana People is now part of the Cardiff identity and community and it will be the nice activity to do in every season of the year!
