Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Orange - Molong Road is close to two local schools and a shopping complex, and offers on-site parking. Our centre has been operating since 2006. We cater for children aged from six weeks through to five years. We have a range of different cultures represented at our centre, including Aboriginal, Indian, South African and Korean. Our dedicated team of educators includes five Early Childhood Teachers. Our learning programs are designed around individual observations of the children – this allows us to interpret and plan accordingly to make sure each child is developing across all of the key learning areas. Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling. Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces – with cubbyhouses, a two-metre boat, sandpits, vege patches, worm farm, dry creek bed and lots of shade. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam. We value communication with our families and do so through a variety of methods, including quality face-to-face conversations and a weekly catch-up email sent each Friday. We also use out intuitive Storypark platform to stay in close contact with families and enable them to engage with their child’s development. Our centre takes an active part in the community, participating in fundraising events, holding discos and centre events for our children and their families, and being a valuable link to schools and specialist services such as speech …
