This family-owned cafe located near Curtis Falls is praised for its decent portions, reasonable prices, great coffee, and friendly staff. From the moment you enter the driveway you will appreciate that this is one of the Gold Coast Hinterland's most charming wineries . Bring your camera and take in the wonderful scenery, as well as enjoying the taste of some of Queensland's finest wines . The vineyard consists of three varieties including Chambourcin, Villard Blanc and Verdelho, even though relatively young vines our Chambourcin in particular is producing a fabulous Rosè. Our other varieties of wines and grapes are sourced from some of Queenslands top vineyards, which provides the winemaker with a wonderful resource when developing our wines. The winery also has a restaurant which adjoins the Gazebo and Deck overlooking Wild Duck Lake. The Lake is a 15 megalitre sanctuary for the native wildlife in the area. The reaches of Cedar Creek which flows through the property are also home to a number of Platypus. The property is quickly developing into a popular tourist attraction with the addition of the Prime Ministers Way, which is a short stroll through rainforest which leads to the Glow Worm Caves . The caves consist of two main cave structures linked by a tunnel with one cave dubbed the Cathedral Cave. Bookings have already been placed for wedding ceremonies in this unique setting. Visitors are welcome to view the many paintings on sale by one of Australia's famous artists, Arthur Hamblin, whose work captures the Australian outback. You can also browse among the many wine gifts and packs which are available through our Cellar Door. Don't forget to take a look at our new online gallery of Arthur Hamblin paintings . Due to Liquor Licensing trading hours, the Cellar Door is closed until 1pm on Anzac Day with only the Restaurant open and permitted to serve alcohol with all main meals on Anzac Day. Cedar Creek Estate Vineyard & Winery is highly recommended for its professional and knowledgeable staff, beautiful venue, great hospitality, delicious food, and excellent wine tasting experiences. Judi, Als, and Diane are mentioned as exceptional staff members. Some visitors also praise the small group tours, helpful accommodations, and great values. The glow worm tours are also a popular attraction.
