After training as a physiotherapist at University of Queensland, she worked in Brisbane, Canada, and Sydney, with many years running her own practice in Brisbane. While in Sydney, she completed her Pilates training with Sally Anderson at Pilates International, achieving certification in Body Arts And Sciences with Rael Isakowitz.
