What We Do Stone Shields was first established in 1956 under the name of Auto Plastics, becoming Stone Shields in 1963. The company was run by the original owner until July of 2010 and all staff has worked in the company for over 12 years. Originally located in Arthur Street New Farm, Brisbane, we moved in 2003 to our new premises in Austin Street, Newstead. Now, under new management we have moved to a new factory at Sandgate. We are the original manufacturers and wholesalers of weather shields in Australia, featuring a large range of patterns from 1948 through to current model vehicles. Our range is always evolving as we try to add new patterns. If we are unable to supply a certain shield for a modern vehicle and you are in the Brisbane area, we are happy to have a look at the vehicle to see if we can make a pattern for you. As we wholesale to a large number of retail stores Australia wide, our shields can be purchased through these stores, depending on your location. You are also more than welcome to contact us directly through our email or by phone. All weather shields are made to order which allows us to offer such a large range. All shields are available in three colours - Smoke Grey tint, Light Green tint or Clear acrylic. For older vehicles (eg. EH Holdens) we offer a range of colours including Red, Blue, Green, Dark Smoke and Amber tops to enhance the style of your car. The turnaround on production is no more than a week, allowing quick distribution to our customers.
