Heart of Hall is a cooking school, cafe and store, a culinary hub bringing people and food together in both practical and entertaining ways. We are open for breakfast and lunch 7 days a week as well as running cooking classes in the afternoons and evenings. We're right next to Newport station so it's a great place to stop by and try some of Small Batch Roasting's fantastic coffee or grab a some food to-go before you rush for the next train. We run a large range of cooking classes, bringing expert chefs and demonstrators in for each particular technique. Currently we have classes ranging from Cheese Making to Spanish, French, Vegan and Pasta making and new classes are constantly being added. We also stock a range of gourmet pantry items, with items such as organic milk, artisan bread, cheeses and relishes for example.
Heart of Hall is a hidden gem with beautiful decor and peaceful atmosphere. Customers highly praise the fantastic service, excellent coffee, and delicious food, particularly the Avocado Smash, Chilli Scramble, and brownies. Prices are reasonable, and the establishment is COVID-19 friendly. Recommended dishes include the Angus Burger and breakfast burgers. A relaxing and satisfying dining experience.
