... Buddhist temple The Great Stupa of Universal Compassion in Myers Flat is a magnificent temple with beautiful gardens and statues. Visitors can learn about Buddhism and enjoy peaceful surroundings. The on-site cafe offers vegetarian/vegan food. Admission is free but donations are appreciated. Four legged family members are welcome. The temple is worth visiting multiple times as progress is made on the interior. The atmosphere is serene and calming, and the vast collection of Asian sacred relics and statues are on display. A film about the Stupa runs at the entrance before entering the inter-faith Peace Park.
