+ Cut only hair with your hairdressing scissors
+ Keep you scissors in a dry place and container when not in use
+ Wipe y0ur scissor blades daily with a soft,dry cloth or tissue to remove moisture and fragments of
hair. Clean scissors with metholated spirits only. Do not use disinfectant as this will corrode
blades.
+ Put one drop of scissor oil in the pivot area of your scissors once a week.
+ Scissors become loose under normal use, tighten the screw assembly one notch at a time until
they feel right to you. Do not overtighten scissors.
+ If scissors are accidently damaged and a nick is in the blades, its best not to use them as the nick
will get bigger. Send them to an experienced and reputable scissor sharpener.
