Wattle Office Supplies is a locally owned and operated business that has supported the community for close to 25 years. Ararat Computer Systems was purchased in 2006 and like Wattle is operated by local staff. The nature of business has changed and the businesses have endeavoured to also evolve. Wattle began as a stationer and copy service and has seen many changes. Brian with his partner Christine introduced computers to their product line. Over time it became two businesses in one with many variations. Wattle became a member of Leading Edge Computers and Office Choice groups giving it access to all the leading IT brands and the buying power of a national buying group, giving you the right solution at the right price. They both provide marketing services and access to a wider range of products and opportunities. The brand partners include Apple, Toshiba, Canon, Epson, Acco, Microsoft, Marbig plus many more selling ink and toner. They provide IT support and repair, stationery, accounting solutions and more. Both certified dealers with both Apple and Toshiba. In its Journey they became a book list provider for some schools in the region. They are an Optus Premium Dealer selling prepaid mobile phone and wireless broadband. The Ararat location is also a Leading Edge Computer store and in 2012 became an Office Choice store as well. They work with the Maryborough location to cover a large area within Central Victoria with IT support. Recently Wattle Office Supplies underwent a change of name in this area and became Tech Edge Solutions. This is a far better description of what Wattle Office Supplies does in the I.T area. The staff number which has grown over the years has certainly expanded its offering to service Central Victoria.
