About Psychologist Emily Burton Emily has experience working with adolescent, young adults and adults across public, private and community settings. Emily is experienced in working with a range of mental health disorders including depression and mood disorders, stress and burnout, low self-esteem and low self-worth, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, sleep problems, poor body image (including body dysmorphia), binge eating, bulimia, anorexia and relationship challenges. In addition to clinical presentations, Emily also supports her clients with personal development, decision-making and problem-solving as required in their personal, social and occupation lives. Emily’s postgraduate research investigated the impact of depressive tendencies on the family. In a separate study, Emily also researched the impact of academic pressures on depressive tendencies.
