She understands the importance of your ceremony and will ensure that your special day runs smoothly. Sylvie acquired her Certificate IV in Celebrancy after retiring as a notable fashion designer, working both locally and overseas. During her career in the fashion industry Sylvie developed exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills, leaving her well equipped for her current profession as a celebrant. As a member of the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants, Sylvie maintains a high level of professionalism and adheres to the standards of service set by the association, as well as the Code of Practice for Marriage Celebrants, set by the Commonwealth Attorney General’s Department. Sylvie lives in Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs where she has played an active role in the community for many years, having been actively involved in both the primary and secondary schools that her children attended. She has been happily married for over 27 years and has two young adult children. In the past, Sylvie has had the pleasure of designing and constructing many bridesmaids’ dresses and bridal gowns for family and friends, thus beginning her involvement with, and love of, weddings. Creativity has always been an integral part of Sylvie’s life and career and will serve her well in designing a personalized ceremony just
