All parents attending the Centre qualify for Child Care Benefit from the Family Assistance Office Kirrawee Child Care Centre was established and operated from February 1994 to meet the Child Care needs of the families in the Sutherland Shire. The Centre endeavours to have experienced qualified staff, who will guide your child through their first steps on the education ladder. While the Centre is privately owned, it is a member of Community Child Care NSW. The Centre caters for children from nought to school age. The Centre has a modest parent library (video & audio, and written), which may assist in many areas of child development. The Centre is air conditioned both for cooling and heating according to the Australian Standard. Kirrawee Child Care Centre is currently Accredited for the maximum number of years (2.5yrs) by the National Childcare Accreditation Council. Kirrawee Child Care Centre rated High Quality during our last Accreditation in December 2009. The Centre consists of two rooms. The Centre provides all children with three meals, morning tea, and lunch and afternoon tea. Children with food allergy, their parents need to fill the food allergy form, as some types of allergies can be accommodated. All permanent staff are qualified and experienced, as the Centre only employs staff with relevant qualifications to their position. Some staff at the Centre is bilingual with a wide diversity and cultural background. Bond is payable upon enrolment or placing your child on the confirmed list. A cancellation fee may apply upon the discretion of the Centre and could be equivalent to the entire bond amount. The Centre’s handbook is available upon enrolment.
