History Museum, Museum The Kapunda Historical Society Museum is a must-visit for history enthusiasts. With multiple rooms spread over two floors, the museum offers a glimpse into the local history and everyday life of Kapunda. The $5 entry fee grants access to three museums - Mining, War, and General. The museum houses an impressive collection of over 20,000 artifacts from the 1800s to modern times, including household goods, hospital equipment, vehicles, and reconstructions of old shops, classrooms, churches, and homes. The volunteers are helpful and knowledgeable, providing expert commentary on the exhibits. The building itself is magnificent and a sight to behold.
