First established as an outdoor power equipment sales and repair business by Trevor Griggs at his family home in 1973, Stihl Shop Huonville has continued to be owned by the same family for over 40 years. Steven Griggs and his wife, Noelene took over the ownership in 1984, when they moved the business to their home garage. The business continued to expand and prosper, eventually moving in 1993 to Main Road, Huonville and in 1999 the custom designed present premises in Wilmot Road, Huonville was built. In 2011, Steven was offered a position with Technical Team at Stihl Australia and decided to ‘retire’ from the business. At this time Steven’s sister Julie and husband Wayne Evans decided to continue the family’s connection with the outdoor power industry, predominately Stihl, and purchased Stihl Shop Huonville. We are very proud to be a retailer of the Stihl product line. As an independent Dealer, we provide many services that the only a Stihl specialist servicing dealer can provide.
