The Goulburn Historic Waterworks Museum is an informative and educational attraction, with knowledgeable volunteer guides sharing stories and history of the original Pumphouse and steam engines from the 1800s. The museum is located on the beautiful Wollondilly River with peaceful surroundings and lovely park areas. Visitors appreciate the passionate and fascinating tours, detailing the history of different machinery used over the years. Bathrooms and a cafe are available, though opening hours may vary. The museum is free to enter and features the only steam water pump from that era still working in the southern hemisphere.
