Fortus recently undertook a replacement of bucket teeth for a customer located in Western Australia’s Southwest region. Operating a Hitachi ZX470LC Excavator in some demanding terrain, our customer was in need of a suitable solution to overcome the lack of penetration and performance of his machine.
After a site visit by Steve Valli, Fortus BDM and a thorough review and evaluation of the existing Hitachi GET, application and work environment, we proposed replacing his existing bucket teeth with the V51 (Super V-Flat Penetrator) Series Esco Style Bucket Teeth.
“The Super V Series, Esco Style Bucket Teeth are definitely a better fit for the ZX470 than its previous Hitachi GET. The Esco style provide better penetration and digging action for the excavator” said Steve Valli.
“In addition, the V51 Esco Bucket Teeth system are easy to install and remove and well-priced compared to other brands on the market, making the decision for our customer a relatively easy one.”
After more than 2 months of operation with the new bucket teeth, our customer is more than happy with the machine’s performance.
