I had a very distressing experience at Skintox. After a filler treatment, I experienced vascular occlusion that led to the beginning stages of necrosis on the side of my nose (death of skin tissue). This has all been documented, with photos and reports. This was extremely painful and frightening. I had to seek urgent medical attention, including scans and multiple doctor appointments. I was unable to work for two weeks due to the impact on my face, as well as the stress and anxiety it caused. Although the practitioner did act quickly to try to dissolve the filler, the corrective treatments she provided were not successful, and I needed further medical care. The effects of this treatment with Skintox impacted my capacity to work for over 2 weeks. When I asked for a refund and reimbursement for the losses I sustained, I was only offered a conditional refund subject to signing a non-disclosure agreement. Further to this, there was no acknowledgment of the income I lost, which was completely dismissed by Skintox. To this day, there has been no accountability, no refund, nor any reimbursement for what happened. This was a very traumatic and costly experience, and I would not recommend this clinic
