Cylex 1. Is DB Clothing a family business? How did it all begin?
DB Clothing: DB Clothing, owned by Paul Aboud is a renewal of the original family business Aboud Apparel, originally owned by Barry Aboud. Barry Aboud acquired the classic Australian Gloster Shirts (Established 1945) in the 1980s and has since expanded the range into womenswear and workwear. DB Clothing marks the return of the original Gloster men's casual shirts in fresh new designs as well as introducing the Brumby Work Shirt, along with wholesaling apparel and casual womenswear, kidswear and menswear to Costco and various Retailers.
Cylex 2. Do you find you men buy more shirts than women? Please explain.
DB Clothing: Our online retail store gloster.com.au receives order from both men and women despite the product being men's shirts.
Cylex 3. What materials do you use for your clothing and from where do you get them?
DB Clothing: Our Shirts are 100% Cotton. Our Gloster shirts are treated with special finishes for a light and comfortable feel and easier ironing. Our Brumby Shirts have a peached finished to ensure durability and lightweight comfort for the Australian heat. Brumby Work Shirts are also made for the outdoor with excellent UPF Ratings for sun protection.
Cylex 4. Is there a presentation store or do you sell only online?
DB Clothing: Our shirts are sold by various retailers Australia wide and only but we only retail directly online.
Cylex 5. What happens if somebody has ordered the wrong item/size by mistake. Can the order be re-edited?
DB Clothing: If an incorrect order is placed online, customers can call or email us before dispatch to have the order amended. Our contact details can be found on the respective websites where the order was placed.
Cylex 6. How are the gift card purchased and do they have an expiry date?
DB Clothing: The gift cards available on Gloster.com.au can be purchased as a digital giftcard online, with a unique code which will be emailed to the customer once the order it finalised. These Gift Cards will expire 12 months from the date of purchase.
