I am a Medibank preferred service provider and am a fully accredited acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner subject to the regulations of the Code of Conduct as set down by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA). I have been operating my Croydon clinic on Port Road since 1995 where I practise an ancient holistic technique of acupuncture known as Distal Needling that balances the flow of energy (QI) around the body. I provide a courteous, friendly and relaxed service in a comfortable setting where a recommended treatment to suit your particular needs will be discussed and determined with you at the initial consultation. I also prescribe traditional Chinese herbal medicine which can be used alongside any ongoing treatment. Coupled with over 50 years experience as a fully qualified (recently retired) pharmacist I also have a wide and varied insight into both Chinese and western medicine and as there is no such thing as a ‘one size fits all’ approach I will evaluate and recommend a treatment to suit your particular needs which can include any of the above techniques perhaps even plus cupping and moxa, a heat based Chinese technique.
