The Revival Fellowship is a Bible-believing church with congregations all over the world. In a nutshell.. what we believe about christianity We believe that true Christianity means getting back to Bible basics. Everything we need is there — the message of The Bible should have nothing added, or taken away. True believers will have the same experiences as the early Christian church. You can read about these experiences in your own Bible, in the Book of Acts. What we believe about being ‘saved’ We believe that becoming a born-again believer according to the words of Jesus in John 3:3-8 is a simple three-step process: First, Repenting (realising that our natural life is not acceptable to God and asking him to give us a spiritual life — see Mark 1:15). Second, being baptised by full immersion — right under the water. Jesus himself was baptised this way as an example to others (Matt 3:13-17). Third, God promised to give the gift of the Holy Spirit — ‘the comforter’ (John 14:13-20) to anyone who asks him. Jesus died so that this could be made available to us. God also promised that when we were given the Holy Spirit there would be signs accompanying it, the physical sign being that we would speak in a new language — ‘speaking in tongues’ (Mark 16:16-20). The early church began on the day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit was first given to believers (Acts 1:4-5) and they spoke in tongues and were baptised. Throughout the Book of Acts you can read of people who received the Holy Spirit with this same evidence, and it’s an experience all our church members have had too ((Acts 2:1-4 and Acts 2:37-41). Where you can find us We have churches all over NSW, Australia and the world. Alternatively, contact us and we’ll put you in touch with your nearest fellowship.
