Zephyr Lavender Farm, Comerong Island, NSW

Zephyr Farm is a working lavender farm, situated on the picturesque South Coast of NSW at Comerong Island, just east of Nowra. Set on an island, two thirds of which is National Park, and bordered by Duck Creek and pastureland, the 5 acres of Zephyr Farm provide a peaceful, idyllic haven.

We currently grow English lavender - both Lavandula angustifolia and Lavandula x intermedia species, which look spectacular in flower just before harvest in December and January. All the lavender is hand harvested by sickle and the lavender oil is distilled on site using our own still.

We have been teaching internationally (Turkey, England, China and Singapore) for nine years, and returned to Australia to buy the family farm. Ros’ Science background and interest in aromatherapy, and John’s Mathematics background helped us in our new adventure. We have created and developed over 80 different products from our lavender which we hope you will enjoy!
