THE WORKS SYDNEY At the heart of The Works is a motivation to address what we believe to be the main issue with agencies... the archaic way they are structured. A structure still in use since the 1960s but not so relevant today. A structure based on layers and layers of people. So naturally, we started in an unconventional way - working out of a van. Two creative people full of ideas. We would travel to a client’s office, pick up the brief and come up with ambitious ideas, all in the van. Creating not just brilliant solutions for clients but also developing those all important relationships between creatives and clients. And so, ‘Creatives on the forefront’ was born. A completely unique point of difference which many people said couldn’t work. But today, eleven years on, The Works is an ambitious, thriving, independent agency with over 60 people.
