Winston Cottage is designed to be something special, something different from the run of the mill. As travellers ourselves, we have combined all the amenities we feel make for the ultimate home away from home. These include beautiful pieces we have collected around the world, such as oriental rugs from Turkey and Iran, authentic pieces from the Miiddle East and Europe and genuine antique furniture.

As well as that however, we know how important it is to embrace the convenience of today's technology. So we have included Smart TVs including access to Netflix, USB charging stations, free WiFi, a Sonos sound system (download the app from your app store) so you can enjoy your own music.

While we love the Queensland climate, we do recognise that the heat can get to people at times, so we have had air conditioning installed in both your sitting room and bedroom. And you don't need to worry about using it, as we have embraced the latest in energy saving technology by using IceSolair which is a world leading system for reducing electricity input costs for air conditioning.

We love our coffee and tea, just as much as you do I suspect - we even visited Sri Lanka to have a decent cuppa a few years ago. To this end, we have included china tea cups and a teapot for you to have the perfect brew. Add to this, your very own pod machine and milk frother and you can practice your barista skills in the comfort of your own sitting room.

Enjoy a "welcome to Winston Cottage" sherry on us, served in a beautiful Tiffany decanter out of Italian crystal sherry glasses. Keep your wine chilled in your in room refrigerator or let your favourite red "breathe" in the Italian crystal decanter. Sit and enjoy the view over the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland - enjoy the birds, our resident border collie, Spike, will probably want to come and say hello. Awaken to the sound of our hens showing off that they have laid the eggs for this morning's breakfast.
