Wilsons College Private Student Accommodation, Lismore Heights, NSW

I lived at Wilsons college, also trading as Wilsons college private student accommodation, during 2014, for nine months. The manager is nasty, sadistic and unprofessional! I will NEVER recommend Wilsons college to anyone. During my tenancy at Wilsons college, my rent was always paid one month in advance and I was a kind, friendly, respectful, clean and quiet tenant. I was verbally abused on numerous occasions and both verbally and physically threatened by the manager. My baby son passed away in 2013, at two weeks of age. I had his ashes with me in the unit, & management knew. Whenever I walked into the office to retrieve my rent receipt, the manager would immediately commence talking about babies, standing in the doorway so as I couldn't leave. This went on for nine months! After several verbal threats, I returned home from Uni to find my unit doors wide open, then my small appliances ceased working. My furniture was moved around whilst I was out and potent toxic smells commenced to fill the unit. Upon exposure, I began experiencing migraines and vomiting whenever I was in the unit. When I approached the office on several occasions, I was told that it was too bad! And that they wouldn't be doing anything to investigate. Police were notified several times, but were unable to assist. I was forced to seek temporary accommodation. This left me with no money. After another incited confrontation in November 2014, I collapsed and called an ambulance. I was served with an eviction notice whilst paramedics were treating me for a suspected hesrt attack. I was given four hours notice to vacate and move all my furniture. Wilsons college do not lodge tenants' bond with the Rental bond Authority; all tenants wait over three months for their bond to be returned, minus over $250 for cleaning, in spite of all tenants' performance of a full bond clean & in the absence of any cleaning receipts being issued to tenants. I never received any bond back, in spite of my ledger history and cleanliness.

I lived at Wilsons College for nine months last year, in 2014. My Rent was always paid one month in advance and I was a clean, tidy, quiet, friendly tenant. One day, the landlord, without any true justification began verbally abusing me, followed by several other attempts at inciting a verbal confrontation, followed by several personal threats to my wellbeing and many other events, which have been logged with solicitors and advocates, accompanied by both written and photographic documentation. Iwas evicted without any true justification and given only four hours to vacate. This was whilst I had two Ambulance Officers treating me in my unit for a suspected heart attack or sttoke, due to the stress this landlady had placed me under for several months. All tenants are told they must wait for three months to receive their bond back, which Always has at least $250 deducted from it for cleaning. No cleaning receipts are issued by management and these units already have a full bond clean upon the tenants exit from the premises, by the tenants. Furthermore, the Bond money is never lodged with the Rental Bond board. Many other tenants, (or as the management like to call them, lodgers), have complained about their ill treatment by management whilst renting at Wilsons College, but many are scared to speak up, for fear of not receiving their bond money back. After my traumatic experiences with Wilsons College, I would NEVER recommend them to Anyone, not even an enemy.
