Dr Joseph Park is a Specialist Ophthalmologist (an Eye Doctor) who trained in Brisbane and undertook further studies (fellowship) at Moorfields Eye Hospital and Western Eye Hospital in London, United Kingdom. Dr Park performs cataract surgery, vitreo-retinal surgery, and looks after age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye diseases, retinal vein occlusions, macular holes and general ophthalmology. He performs intravitreal injections (Eye Injections) at the clinic.

In addition to working at Westside Eye Clinic, Dr Park is an Ophthalmology VMO at Royal Brisbane Hospital, a Senior Lecturer with University of Queensland, and also consults at Greenslopes Hospital and Chermside. He operates at Eyetech Day Surgeries, Royal Brisbane Hospital, Greenslopes Private Hospital and St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital.

Dr Park is a Fellow of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (FRANZCO), and is also a member of following ophthalmology societies: American Academy of Ophthalmology, Australian and NZ Society of Retina Specialists, American Society of Retina Specialists. He regularly attends international ophthalmology meetings to keep up to date with the latest in diagnosis and treatment of retinal disorders. He has presented papers at both international and national ophthalmology meetings. Dr Park is also a published author in numerous international and national ophthalmology journals.
