We pride ourselves on providing experienced and professional care. This private facility is an accredited 12 bed unit which supports surgeons in conducting day surgery procedures for their patients. The day surgery is easily accessible to patients from either side of Melbourne. We are located directly opposite the Sunshine Hospital, close to the Western Ring Road’s Furlong Road exit ramp.
Company description
Western Day Surgery opened 10 year ago and over the years has provided a variety of surgical procedures for children and adults. From the beginning of 2008 the facility will provide dental and oral surgery, plastic surgery, ENT surgery, endoscopy procedures, general surgery and gynaecological procedures. All surgeons and anaethetists apply for clinical privileges by submitting specific documentation to be able to practice at this facility. In addition there is a Medical Advisory Committee which oversees their practice and performance.
