Westek Electronics is dedicated to the supply of high quality products and solutions to a broad range of businesses including manufacturing, defence, education, communication, transport, mining, health and power generation. Formed in 1996 after a management buyout of Westinghouse Industrial Products, the Westek team has over thirty years experience in its various areas of specialisation. Westek’s principle activities are divided into four business units. The RFI & EMI filters division supplies quality filters, components, gaskets, ferrites and materials used for the containment of RFI emissions and Immunity-proofing apparatus. The Test Equipment division provides quality test instrumentation such as AC & DC power supplies, EMI/EMC test equipment, power and energy analysers, electrical engineering test equipment, bench top test & measurement and hand held test equipment. The Power Quality Solutions division is focused on supplying harmonics mitigation filters for power circuits, converters, inverters, UPS systems, variable speed drives and other non-linear loads such as induction furnaces. The Power Electronics division is focused on supplying a comprehensive range of components including power semi-conductor devices and assembles capacitors, variacs, pulse transformer and transient suppressors. Westek’s company philosophy is firmly based on service. The product range is backed up with pre-sales and post-sales service including where necessary, technical assistance with the selection of filters, components and instrumentation.
