Company description
Watermaid Pty Ltd began its origins in Sydney, Australia in 1971 by qualified industrial chemist Ted Romer. After many years of research and development, it was the first company to design, develop and manufacture the salt water chlorinator for domestic swimming pools. And after 40 years of manufacturing in Australia, Watermaid Pty Ltd is still proud to be 100% Australian owned.
Watermaid Pty Ltd has gained a reputation for manufacturing high quality, long lasting, reliable products, backed by outstanding customer service in providing unequalled backup knowledge for the many problems associated with pool chemistry. WATERMAID® products are supplied world-wide to both the local Australian and international markets including Canada, USA, Europe and South Africa.
In addition to salt water chlorinators, Watermaid Pty Ltd also manufacture pool pumps, sand filters, as well as custom-made solutions for commercial and industrial water treatment applications.
