WA Lock Service was started up by owner Wayne Bunney in 1998. Wayne started in his trade when he was 15, doing his apprenticeship in Melbourne. His apprenticeship was done at the only nationally recognised locksmith school in Australia. After spending 6 years perfecting his craft in Melbourne, taught by some of the best in the business, Wayne then moved to Perth, working for another 7 years for two different companies. After realizing that his quality of workmanship, hard work ethic and attention to detail, stood out compared to his peers, Wayne set out to build a company which would embody his high standards. Over 24 years of industry experience and the belief that “the customer comes first”, sets WA Lock Service apart from its competitors. Wayne and his tradesmen are also master locksmiths and members of the Master Locksmithing Association .
